She worked in Development at Esperanza Academy, a tuition-free middle school for girls, and most recently, as Special Assistant to the Mayor of Lawrence. As Director of Employment Services, she works directly with members to develop their individualized pathway to family sustaining employment while promoting empowerment and inherent dignity.

He left the corporate world to join RE:work Richmond in the fall of 2018. Ferd has served on a number of non-profit and private school boards, the Vestry at St. James’s Episcopal Church, and has led a Haiti Mission Ministry for over twenty years. He lives in Richmond with his wife Janet, and is blessed to have five children and a wonderful daughter-in-law residing in various cities across the country.
